Hosta 'A Dash of Lemon'

Registered by O. Walker of Surrey, England and C. Potts of Surrey, England in 2020, this medium size (12 inches high by 20 inches wide) cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It has green foliage with light yellow marginal variegation. The leaves are slightly rippled, ovate shaped and slightly shiny on top seedling . Pale lavender, bell-shaped flowers bloom from June into July on scapes about as high as the foliage. It sets seed but their viability was not determined at the time of registration...

The registration materials state: "...Emerges with just the right "dash of lemon" on the leaf margins. Yellow margins turn green and the center gets brighter over time (or with more sun)...Over time (or given more sun) the center is brighter yellow."
