Hosta 'Abba Satellite'

Originated by Paul Aden of New York, this non-registered cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a medium size hosta about 16 inches high by 28 inches wide. The leaves are yellow with a dark green medial (center) variegation. Its foliage is seersuckered, slightly cupped and broadly ovate.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states in its Hosta Hybrids for Connoisseurs chapter: "Not available in the trade at the time of writing, but since this variation has occurred once, it can occur again...A central green marking that runs from the base of the leaf blade, where it feathers outwards to the tip."
