Hosta 'Abba Windows'

A medium size (14 inches high by 30 inches wide) sport of H. 'Sun Power', this cultivar from Paul Aden of New York was registered by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2010. This hosta varies from the mother plant by having chartreuse to gold colored marginal variegation. The center of the leaf has various colored streaks. Its flowers are pale lavender and borne in July on tall (36 inches) scapes but it is sterile and does not set seeds.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Paul's specimens of 'Abba Windows' were fairly small, and I'm not sure if this is a characteristic of the cultivar or if I was just looking at immature plants."
