Hosta 'Academy Blue Funnel'
 

Registered by Steve Chamberlain of New York in 2008, this upright growing, large size (28 inches high by 46 inches wide) cultivar is of unidentified parentage. The medium blue foliage is moderately cupped, slightly twisted, moderately corrugated, broadly ovate and has glaucous bloom on top. Pale lavender flowers bloom from June into July on scapes up to 26 inches tall. The veins in the leaves are prominent.
