Hosta 'Academy Cockcrow'

Registered by Steve Chamberlain of New York in 2009, this small size (8 inches high by 21 inches wide) cultivar is a sport of H. 'Twilight'. The foliage is medium green in color with a wide white marginal variegation.

Its leaves are dull on top, moderately cupped, moderately corrugated and broadly ovate. Medium lavender flowers with internal stripes bloom from mid-July into August on scapes up to 17 inches tall followed by seed pods. The scapes have purple spots.
