Hosta 'Academy Yellow Vuvuzela'

This cultivar is a seedling of unidentified parentage which was registered by Steve Chamberlain of New York in 2015. It is an upright growing, large size plant about 24 inches high by 44 inches wide with yellow foliage which becomes more greenish as the season progresses. The leaves are flat, slightly cupped and slightly shiny on top. Pale lavender flowers with medium lavender stripes bloom in July. It sets seeds but their viability was not known at the time of registration.
