The Hostapedia by
Mark Zilis (2009), "Though not well-known, 'Amethyst Chip' rates highly
for blue-green foliage color. By being a selfed seedling of
'Purple Verticulated Elf', it can be considered a seventh
generation Tardiana seedling."
