Hosta 'Angel of Beauty'

Originated jointly by Mark Zilis of T&Z or Q&Z Nursery in Illinois and Ken Ziarek of Wisconsin and registered by Owen Purvis of Elim Hosta Gardens in Wisconsin  in 2022, this cultivar is a sport of H. 'Blue Angel'.

It is a large size plant about 22 inches high by 48 inches wide with blue-green foliage that has a greenish-gold marginal variegation. The broadly ovate leaves are moderately corrugated and moderately rippled. Near white flowers bloom from late June into July on scapes 28 to 32 inches tall. Seed viability was unknown at the time of registration.

The registration materials state: "Attractive sport of H. ‘Blue Angel’ with greenish gold margins that often streak into the leaf center."
