Hosta 'Baby Bear'

Registered by Bevie Schmidt of Michigan in 2009, this cultivar is an open-pollinated seedling of a streaked form of H. 'Little Wonder'. It is a small size hosta about 7 inches high by 26 inches wide with medium blue-green foliage that has a creamy white margin. The broadly ovate leaves are slightly folded, slightly rippled and slightly shiny on top. Pale lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes 10 to 12 inches tall.

The registration materials state: "...small mound, tends to glow in the dark."
