This cultivar is a sport of H. 'Blaze of Glory' was originated by Mark Zilis of Illinois and registered by Jim Schwarz of Jim's Hostas of Iowa (now owned by Uniquely Hostas of Wisconsin) in 2012. It is a large size (20 inches high by 44 inches wide) hosta with medium green foliage that has a golden yellow margin. The leaves are slightly rippled, broadly ovate, slightly corrugated and dull on top. Near white, tubular flowers bloom from June into July.
