Hosta 'Baltimore Blues'

Roger Smith of Maryland registered this fast growing, medium size (18 inches high by 38 inches wide) hybrid of H. 'Fragrant Blue' × an unidentified hosta in 2013. The intensely blue-green foliage is lightly cupped, slightly folded, flat and has a glaucous bloom on top. It has very thick petioles. Pale lavender flowers with a pale lavender center and white margins bloom from July into August. It sets viable seeds.

In addition to a song title, the Baltimore Blues were an American rugby team.
