Hosta 'Belle Vernon Pride'
 

Registered by Steve and Sarah Zolock of Pennsylvania in 2008, this cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a large size hosta (24 inches high by 42 inches wide) with dark to medium blue-green foliage. The leaves are lightly cupped, slightly corrugated and slightly shiny on top. Dark lavender flowers with stripes bloom from mid-August into September on scapes up to 34 inches high. It develops dark purple seed pods.
