This cultivar is a sport of H. 'Golden Wheels' which was registered by Gayle Kamp of Indiana in 2001. It is a medium to large size hosta with blue-green foliage that has a gold medial (center) variegation. Near white flowers bloom from late June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Being a 'Golden Wheels' sport puts this plant into the 'Tokudama - H. 'Sieboldiana'' class."
