This large size (23 inches high by 52 inches wide) seedling of a seedling of H. 'Dorothy Benedict' was registered in 2005 by Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan. The leaves are dark green with either a yellow and green mottled marginal variegation or mottled center. The are slightly corrugated and oblong-ovate with thick substance. Pale lavender flowers bloom from late June into July.
