Minnie
Klopping introduced this large, green hosta with rippled
leaves in the 1960s and it was registered on her behalf by
Peter Ruh in 1986. It was a seedling of H. 'Fortunei Gigantea'
which was originated in 1963. The flowers are pale lavender and
are borne in late June to mid-July.
Seedlings include H. 'Fernwood' and H. 'Mikado'.
Similar cultivars include H. 'Fortunei Gigantea' and H. 'Green
Piecrust'.
