Hosta 'Billie Holiday'

Registered by Jim Husemann of Iowa in 2019, this fast growing, medium size (14 inches high by 30 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Curly Fries' × H. 'Astral Bliss'. It is a medium green plant with heavily rippled margins. The leaves are slightly shiny on top, lanceolate in shape and heavily wavy. Pale lavender, bell-shaped flowers bloom in August on red speckled scapes 22 to 28 inches tall. This cultivar sets viable seeds.

The registration materials state: "...Upright form and wavy margins with a dusky spring color...Later season leaves tend to be yellowish in the center."
