This cultivar is a seedling of an F1 seedling of H. 'Dorothy Benedict' which was registered by Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan in 2005. It forms a large size, upright mound about 20 inches high. The foliage is blue-green with green, yellow and creamy white streaked variegation. Its leaves are heavily corrugated and have white on the bottom. Pale lavender flowers bloom from late June into July.
