Hosta 'Blue Pointer'

This cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Tokudama Aureonebulosa' which was registered by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2010. It is a large size plant about 19 inches high by 42 inches wide with medium blue-green foliage that changes to medium green later in the summer. The leaves are lightly wavy, slightly corrugated and broadly ovate. Near white, tubular flowers bloom from June into July.

Reportedly named for a species of shark.
