Hosta 'Blue Ripples'

A cultivar of unidentified parentage, this plant was originated by Gunther Stark of Iowa but registered on his behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. It forms a large size mound of blue-green foliage about 23 inches tall with a spread of 45 inches. The leaves are heavily rippled, elliptic to ovate and dull on top. Pale lavender flowers bloom from June into July.
