Hosta 'Blueberry Swirl'

Originated by Dr. Ralph (Herb) and Dorothy Benedict of Michigan but registered in 2010 by Rod Kuenster on their behalf, this cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a large size hosta about 18 inches high by 28 inches wide with green foliage that has pale yellow and greenish white streaked variegation. The leaves are lightly cupped, slightly corrugated, nearly round and dull on top. Near white flowers with lavender stripes bloom from mid-July into August on scapes about 34 inches tall followed by streaked seed pods.

According to the registration materials: "...good pod parent..."
