Hosta 'Bluebigwa'

Registered by Charles Kwick of Wisconsin in 2019, this upright growing, large size (24 inches high by 36 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of an unnamed seedling hosta × H. 'Blue Umbrellas'. It has blue-green foliage which is slightly rippled at the margins and has a glaucous bloom on top. The leaves are nearly round, moderately cupped and moderately corrugated. Near white flowers with very light lavender stripes bloom from late June into July on scapes 22 to 38 inches tall.

The registration materials state: "...Rich blue-green leaves that cup upwards when mature."
