Hosta 'Bluebird of Happiness'

Registered by Bob Solberg of Green Hill Farm in North Carolina in 2020, this small to medium size (12 inches high by 24 inches wide) cultivar is an open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Touch of Class'. It is a slow growing hosta with intensely blue-green foliage. The leaves are moderately twisted, wavy, ovate, glaucous on top and deeply folded overall. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July on scapes 16 to 18 inches tall.

The registration materials state: "...Very blue leaves with heavy substance that are twisted and folded like a Bird of Paradise plant.."
