Hosta 'Bobbie Sue'

This sport of H. 'Marbled White' was registered by Clarence Owens of Michigan in 1994. The large size (26 inches high) mound has foliage that is moderately wavy. Lavender flowers are borne on very tall (60 inches) scapes from mid-July into August followed by viable seeds.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Moderate to fast growth rate. A superb recent introduction...Leaves become flatter and wider with maturity."

Similar cultivars include H. 'Fortunei Albomarginata' and H. 'White Necklace'.
