Hosta 'Bora Bora'

Registered by Dave Bowe of Ohio in 2022, this cultivar is an upright growing seedling of H. hypoleuca × H. 'Blue Wedgwood'. It is a medium to large size hosta about 18 inches high by 36 inches wide with blue-green foliage. The leaves are slightly corrugated, moderately cupped and broadly ovate in shape. 'Bora Bora' has a "slightly rhizomatous habit". Medium lavender flowers with interior centers of varying widths bloom in August. It does not set seed.

The registration materials state: "Cupped blue horizontally held leaves with white backs.  Short scapes present the flowers below the leaves."
