This cultivar is a hybrid of (H. montana 'Aureomarginata' × H. venusta) x H. longipes hypoglauca which was registered by Roy Herold of Massachusetts in 1993. It grows into a small size hosta about 6 inches high by 17 inches wide with green foliage that has purple-red dots on the petioles and scapes. The medium purple flowers bloom in August.
