Hosta 'Britannia'

Registered by Bill Struhar of Michigan in 2022, this fast growing, upright cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a large size plant about 26 inches high by 48 inches wide with medium green foliage. The broadly ovate leaves are slightly shiny on top and relatively flat with deeply impressed veins. Near white flowers with very pale lavender stripes bloom in August on tall scapes up to 60 inches in height followed by viable seeds.

The registration materials state: "Fast growing large upright mound of dark green flat leaves with widely spaced deeply impressed veins. Leaves layer nicely for optimum viewing. Very tall erect flower scapes."
