Hosta 'Carmen Ohio'
 

This cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Hearts and Flowers' which was registered by Dr. Dick and Jane Ward of Ohio in 2015. A small size (9 inches high by 12 inches wide) plant, this hosta has variable green foliage with a pure white marginal variegation. The leaves are broadly ovate, slightly rippled and dull on top. Near white, tubular flowers bloom from late June into July.

Carmen Ohio is the name of a song which is associated with The Ohio State University, the alma mater of Dick and Jane Ward.
