Hosta 'Cathedral of Learning'
 

This cultivar of unidentified parentage was registered by Steve and Sarah Zolock of Pennsylvania in 2007. The large size hosta has an upright form and leaves that are chartreuse to medium green in color. It is noted as being sun tolerant. Lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August.

 


The Cathedral of Learning is located on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh. It is on the National Register of Historic Places.
