Hosta 'Chartreuse Spoons'

This cultivar is a non-registered cultivar of unidentified parentage from Ron Livingston of Michigan. It is a medium size hosta with chartreuse colored foliage. The leaves are narrowly ovate and have smooth texture. Pale lavender flowers bloom from late July into August.

The unique flowers appear to be all bunched together at the top of the scape. When I first saw the closeup of the bloom, I thought it was a picture of a Monarda (Beebalm) flower.
