This cultivar is a
non-registered cultivar of unidentified parentage from Ron Livingston of Michigan. It is a medium size hosta with
chartreuse colored foliage. The leaves are narrowly
ovate and have smooth texture. Pale lavender flowers
bloom from late July into August.
A photo on the
Hosta Librarysite shows these unique flowers. They
appear to be all bunched together at the top of the
scape. When I first saw the closeup of the bloom, I
thought it was a picture of a
Monarda (Beebalm) flower.
