Hosta 'Cheese Ball'

Registered by Randy Goodwin of Indiana in 2017, this miniature size (4 inches high by 5 inches wide) cultivar is of unidentified parentage. The foliage is greenish yellow, slightly rippled, slightly twisted, wavy and slightly shiny on top. Pale lavender flowers with minimal striping bloom from mid-July into August on scapes 10 to 12 inches tall. It sets seeds but their viability was undetermined at the time of registration.

The registration materials state: "...Very round, symmetrical clump shape when mature...Changes to pale yellow through the season."
