Hosta 'Chesieres Mountain Lights'
 

 

This cultivar is a tissue culture sport of H. 'Richland Gold' was registered by Liselotte Hirsbrunner of Switzerland in 2002. It is a medium size (13 inches high by 22 inches wide) hosta with medium green foliage that has a pale yellow medial (center) variegation with some streaking. The leaves are ovate, slightly wavy and moderately corrugated. It bears pale lavender flowers with darker stripes down the middle from mid-July into August but does not set seed.

The registration materials state: "...striking spring color; showy...streaking form the edge increases if grown in dense shade."
