Hosta 'Chiemsee Class'
 

Originated by Volker Eschenbach of Planwerk Staudengärtnerei nursery in Germany, this non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. ‘Touch of Class'. It has green foliage with a wider yellow medial (center) variegation than the mother plant. The mound grows into a medium size hosta about 12 inches high and a spread of 30 inches wide. it bears pale lavender flowers in late July.

The largest lake in Bavaria is the Chiemsee, which is otherwise known as the "Bavarian Sea".
