 Registered by Jim Schwarz of
Jim's Hostas of Iowa (now owned by Uniquely
Hostas of Wisconsin) in 2015, this cultivar
is of unidentified parentage. The medium size hosta grows to
about 15 inches in height with a spread of around 20
inches. Its very dark green foliage is lightly cupped, slightly corrugated, nearly round and very shiny on top.
Tubular flowers bloom from mid-July into August. According to the registration materials: "...dark green, round, rubbery, slightly cupped..."
Miller was an NCAA All-American wrestler from Northern
Iowa and later a highly successful wrestling coach at
Wartburg College in nearby Waverly, Iowa.
