This cultivar was listed on the Hosta Lists website. As the name implies, this hosta has very dark green foliage. It is a medium size cultivar with shiny, near round foliage.

The Uniquely Hosta website lists this cultivar for sale as OS i.e. Originator Stock. They recently purchased Jim's Hostas of Iowa so we are going to speculate that the originator of this plant is probably Jim Schwarz.
