Hosta 'Colesburg Sonny Boy'
 

This cultivar is a sport of H. 'September Sun' was registered by Robert Hackbarth of The Hosta Leaf in Colesburg, Iowa in 2015. It is a large size hosta about 19 inches high by 37 inches wide with dark green foliage that has a yellow medial (center) variegation. The leaves are slightly rippled, broadly ovate, slightly twisted, slightly wavy, moderately corrugated. Yellow streaks extend down the petioles. Pale lavender flowers with dark lavender stripes bloom from mid-July into August. It does not set seeds.
