Hosta 'Cosmic Killer'

Registered by Rod Kuenster of Iowa in 2021, this cultivar is an open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Frosted Morning' × H. 'Warwick Comet'.  It is a large size plant about 20 inches high by 32 inches wide with blue-green foliage that has a creamy greenish white streaked variegation. The broadly ovate leaves are slightly cupped, slightly folded and heavily corrugated. Streaking extends down into the petioles. It bears near white flowers in July on scapes up to 30 inches tall followed by viable seeds in streaky blue pods.

The registration materials state: "Very interesting blue colors used in registrant's breeding program."
