Hosta 'Créme Solaire'

This cultivar of unidentified parentage was registered in 2004 by Emile and Jane Deckert of Maryland. The hosta grows into a medium size about 14 inches tall by 32 inches wide. Its gold colored leaves are ovate, not wavy, slightly corrugated and have thick substance. Near white flowers bloom in June.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...exhibits many 'Tokudama'traits."

The name is basically French for suntan lotion.
