The result of a cross of H. 'August Moon' × H. 'Ruffles', this cultivar was registered by Eldren Minks of Minnesota in 1975. It grows into a large size hosta about 25 inches in height with a spread of around 66 inches. The green foliage is wavy and puckered upward. Its lavender flowers bloom in July.
