Hosta 'Cupid's Dart'

Walters Gardens, Inc., Inc. registered this sport of H. 'Heartsong' in 1997. It is a medium sized plant with pale lavender flowers in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...the few clumps that still exist in gardens have matured into nothing more than 'Heartsong'. In short, 'Cupid's Dart' represents a temporary, juvenile phase, probably induced by tissue culture growth regulators."

These 2010 photos come from the Ralph (Herb) and Dorothy Benedict Hosta Hillside, tours and vendors at the 2010 American Hosta Society National Convention in Minnesota, Wade and Gatton Nursery and Arboretum, Toledo Botanical Garden and the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
