This sport of H. 'Gold
Drop' was registered by
Walters Gardens, Inc. in 1988. The small mound has leaves which have a green center with a very
thin white edge. Lavender flowers bloom in late June to mid
July.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis
(2009), this cultivar "...sometimes develops a drawstring
effect due to a very narrow white margin that stops growing,
while the green center continues to expand. The inevitable
pressure that builds up causes the margin to rip and tear."
Sports include H. 'Heartsong'.
