Hosta 'Doctor Reath'

This H. 'Sieboldiana' sport was registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio on behalf of the originator, Dr. David Reath of Michigan in 1997. It forms a large size mound (24 inches high by 50 inches wide) with blue-green foliage that starts the spring gold splotched and then turns green later in the summer. The leaves are moderately corrugated and have thick substance. Near white flowers bloom in mid-June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "This is a plant with multiple names and identities...is sometimes listed as 'Dr. Reath'."
