Hosta 'Edina King'

Originated by Charles Kwick of Wisconsin, this cultivar was registered in 2021 as an open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Summer Lovin'. It is a small size (9 inches high by 18 inches wide) hosta with chartreuse to medium green foliage. The broadly ovate leaves are slightly wavy and slightly shiny on top. It bears pale purple, bell shape flowers with darker stripes in July.

According to the Registration materials: "Emerges lime green changing to iridescent green later.  Bracts are larger on bottom of scape getting progressively smaller going up the scape.  Purple striped flowers."
