Hosta 'Emeralds and Diamonds'

This is one of those cases where there are two hostas with the same name. Neither are currently registered with The American Hosta Society. The first one to be registered would become the "official" hosta of that name and the others would have to be renamed.

This non-registered cultivar from Patsy Stygall of Indiana has H. 'Sieboldiana' in its background. The large size hosta has heavily corrugated blue-green foliage has gold streaked variegation. It will have near white flowers with a pale lavender mid-tepal stripes from late June into mid-July.

Hosta Helper will call this plant 'Emeralds and Diamonds' (Stygall)

A non-registered cultivar from Alex Malloy of New York, this plant is a seedling of H. 'Pin Stripe Sister'. It is a small size plant with green foliage that is streaked with green and white specks.

Hosta Helper will call this plant 'Emeralds and Diamonds' (Malloy)
