This cultivar is the result of a cross of H. 'Neat Splash' × H. 'Dorset Blue' and is a sibling to H. 'Topaz'. It was originated by Greg Johnson of Iowa.

We do not have other specific information on this cultivar but its sibling (out of the same seed pod) 'Topaz' is a medium size plant about 16 inches high by 33 inches wide with ovate leaves which have long, distinct tips. Its foliage is smooth textured and has thick substance. Pale purple flowers are borne from late July into August. So, we assume that this cultivar is similar...but you know what they say about assumptions!
