Hosta 'Exceptional'

This non-registered cultivar of unidentified parentage was originated by Ron Livingston of Michigan. It is a large size plant about 18 inches high by 50 inches wide with medium green foliage that has yellow, white and light green streaked variegation. The leaves are ovate, moderately rippled and have good substance.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...could be useful when breeding for variegated hostas with rippled foliage."
