Hosta 'Fiddle-e-dee'

This is one of those cases where there are two hostas with the same name. Neither are currently registered with The American Hosta Society. The first one to be registered would become the "official" hosta of that name and the others would have to be renamed.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), this is a non-registered hosta from Don Herzog of Miniature Plant Kingdom in California. It is a miniature size hosta with chartreuse foliage.

Hosta Helper will call this plant 'Fiddle-e-dee' (Herzog).

Originated by Anita Kistler of Pennsylvania, this non-registered cultivar is of unidentified parentage. This small size hosta has light green colored foliage and is a H. venusta type plant with long petioles. Lavender flowers bloom in July.

Hosta Helper will call this plant 'Fiddle-e-dee' (Kistler).
