Originated by Barry Ankney of White Oak Nursery in Illinois, this non-registered cultivar is, obviously, a sport of H. 'Fired Up' which is probably under evaluation and will be given its own name if found suitable for introduction. It grows into a medium size hosta about 14 inches tall by 30 inches wide and bears pale purple, tubular flowers in late July.
