According to The Genus HOSTA by W. George Schmid (1991), this is a small size (8 inches high by 14 inches wide) cultivar with chartreuse colored foliage. It bears purple, bell shape flowers in July followed by fertile seeds.

There is also a different cultivar named H. 'Fourteen Carats'.
