Hosta 'Foxfire Palm Sunday'

This hybrid is a cross of H. 'Independence Day' × an unidentified hosta from Steve Schulte of Wisconsin who registered it in 2009. The upright mound grows into a large size hosta about 28 inches in height with a spread of 48 inches. Its leaves are slightly rippled, slightly shiny on top and are narrowly ovate with a tapered base. The color of the leaf margin continues down the petiole. It has thick substance and bears pale lavender flowers with internal stripes from late June into July.

Application Date: 2009
