Hosta 'Frensham Glow Worm'

Registered by June Colley and John Baker of England in 2020, this cultivar is an open-pollinated, miniature size (3 inches high by 6 inches wide) seedling of H. venusta. It is a slow growing plant with green foliage that has white streaked variegation.

The ovate leaves are relatively flat, dull on top and slightly shiny on the bottom. Pale purple flowers on scapes 4 to 6 inches tall bloom from July into August. It sets non-viable seeds.

The registration materials state: "...Good streaky addition to miniature hostas.  Pollen fertile.  Needs divided every four years or so to maintain streaky character."
